These include tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, a .58 mile walking trail, 2 children's playgrounds, a sand box, swimming pool, baseball fields, access to the Powell River, and 3 pavilions. Cavitt’s Creek Park/Lake, J. Witten Rec. Area - More Info

The 54 acre lake is part of the 164 acre Cavitt's Creek Park Campground. Quiet, breathtaking retreat for fun and relaxation, birding, hiking, camping, fishing and more. We offer: -Fully handicap accessible restrooms/showers -Primitive Tent sites with water, primitive RV sites, and Full service RV campsites. We can meet all of your camping needs. Weekly and group rates available. -6 covered Picnic Shelters, Large playground -Paddle boat and "john" boat rentals, 2 boat ramps for electric motor driven boats. -Fishing: Trout, Bass, Walleye, and more. No fee to fish, but Virginia fishing license are required. Trout stamp required October 1 to June 15th.
