A cozy cafe in historic Appalachia, Virginia located next to the Louis Henegar Miners Memorial Park on Callahan Ave. F And J's features the hamburgers, hot dogs and general casual style food that is an American staple. Operated by Jay and Elaine Swiney, F and J's is a decidedly local establishment where visitors can hob knob with folks and learn about Appalachia's rich coal mining and athletic history. The cuisine is straightforward as are the folks and visitors are definately welcome. Relax on the deck or come inside. Either way, F and J's is a fun stop along Virginia's Crooked Road and Coal Heritage trails.
