Each year the smallest incorporated town in Virginia showcases the hospitality of our region at Duffield Daze in a big way!  Enjoy the parade, Music and Street Dance, 5K Road Race, tractor pulls, hit and miss engine demonstrations, antiques, crafts, food vendors, children's games, petting zoo, old time gospel music and the Papa Joe Smiddy Mountain Music Festival!

Join us for a day full of fun at the Punkin Patch Farm Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.!  Enjoy the FREE Farm Visit & Hay Rides from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Apple Butter & Molasses Stir Off All Day, Fall Pictures Photographer on hand All Day, Boy Scout Troop 166 from Nickelsville, VA will be serving food all day - Pizza, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Drinks, Soupbeans & Cornbread!  Gospel Singing!  Local groups and singers are invited!  Barn Dance will be from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  Participate in the Flat Food Contest at 7:00 p.m. and then try to guess the weight of a large pumpkin at the Large Pumpkin Giveaway at 8:00 p.m! 

With so much to do at Punkin Patch Farm's Fall Harvest Celebration, you can literally spend an entire day out having fun with your family!  Don't miss this one!

Bush Mill Days 2012 - More Info

Bush Mill Days focuses on the historical gem of Bush Mill and grinding corn meal. Come see one of the few operational mills in our area and watch the running water wheel! Visitors can witness this historic process and take home their own bag of ground corn meal. Apple butter is made at the event allowing visitors the hands-on experience of stirring apple butter as it is cooking! While enjoying your day at Bush Mill, you'll also find local craft vendors, country and gospel music all day and door prizes!
