Kick off the event on Thursday with a Gallery Reception at the RR Museum featuring renouned artist Nadya Warthen-Gibson and a concert on the lawn and local wine tastings. Friday, starting at 5pm, are guided caving trips, gallery showings, Main Event Wrestling, craft & food vending, rock climbing wall for kids, wine tent, contests, fabulous music, dance party, games, amusements, kid's train rides and more. Saturday starts early with the Farmer's Market, Clinch River Crusiers Classic car show, fid's fishing tournament at Oxbow, gallery showings, juried photography, guided canoe/kayak trips, Civil War encampment and skirmishes, dog show, clowns and magic, kid's train rides, wine tend, Zumba lessons, Photographer lessons/nature walk, 5/5k run-walk great shows and entertainment, contests, fantastic music, dancing and more in addition to the mid-way craft and food vendors. Bring your lawn chairs, come early and stay late... there's fun for everyone at the 15th annual Clinch River Days Festival on the banks of the scenic Clinch River in St. Paul, Virginia.

Cliffhanger Ranch Adventure Outpost has partnered with several nearby events in celebration of the American Hiking Society's 20th Annual National Trails Day. The event will be held in Coeburn from Friday, June 1 thru Sunday, June 3. It is centrally located with three Trails Day events: a Little Stoney horseback ride, a Guest River Gorge walk/hike with the town of Coeburn and a Clinch Coalition hike down the Chief Venge trail. Cliffhanger Ranch will offer primitive camping, limited bike rental, kayak rental, a professional bull whip artist show, bonfires and a cowboy church on Sunday at 11am. And, if that's not enough, come to see "the Generalo Lee." Yeee Haaa!!!
Local sponsors include Clinch Valley Outfitters, bull whip artist Rich Hoffman, Spearhead Trailblazers and others.
So, bring your tents, your horses, bikes, kayaks and hiking shoes for a fun-filled weekend. There will be food & fun available all weekend so don't miss out.

The Scott County Art Bazaar will be held at Grogan Park in Gate City, VA on June 1st from 10am-6pm. Expect to see amazing and unique artistic talent to include handmade jewlery, sculptures, paintings, woodwork, a variety of crafts, and much much more! Several local bands will play live music throughout the day. A variety of food will be available for purchase from local vendors, everything from hot dogs to funnel cakes! Russell County's new festival that was sprung from the Virginia Coal Festival (formed from the Virginia Coal Heritage Trail Festival and the Coalfield Folklife Festival). The mission of the festival is to educate, entertain and engage community awareness of our heritage and resources - held the second weekend of June at the Old Russell County Courthouse Complex.
