Russell County's new festival that was sprung from the Virginia Coal Festival (formed from the Virginia Coal Heritage Trail Festival and the Coalfield Folklife Festival). The mission of the festival is to educate, entertain and engage community awareness of our heritage and resources - held the second weekend of June at the Old Russell County Courthouse Complex.
