Whether you and your partner are looking for adventure or serenity, the Heart of Appalachia has something for you this Valentine’s Day! If you’re looking to get down and dirty with your partner, take a trip on one of our ATV trails. Spearhead Trails offers 5 trail systems where you can rent an ATV to have a wild-ride filled with fun and adventure. If you would rather have a calm and relaxing weekend with your significant other, rent a cabin from one of many options for a cozy getaway. Many of our cabins offer beautiful views and are perfect for a Valentine’s getaway.
There are also a couple of hotels that offer delicious eateries for a nice Valentine’s weekend as well. The Inn at Wise is a gorgeous hotel which is filled with history and it has its own diner inside, along with a pub and tap room. The Western Front Hotel is another hotel with its own restaurant conveniently located inside. Both hotels are gorgeous and have their own unique personalities to draw you in to want to stay.
Depending on where you stay or where you would like to visit, the different towns have a lot of different activities that are usually going on during the weekends. There is usually a guided hike you can follow or an art class going on. You can check out the Heart of Appalachia website for a list of events going during that time and at what location.
