Valentine’s Day Getaway

Whether you and your part­ner are look­ing for adven­ture or seren­i­ty, the Heart of Appalachia has some­thing for you this Valentine’s Day! If you’re look­ing to get down and dirty with your part­ner, take a trip on one of our ATV trails. Spear­head Trails offers 5 trail sys­tems where you can rent an ATV to have a wild-ride filled with fun and adven­ture. If you would rather have a calm and relax­ing week­end with your sig­nif­i­cant oth­er, rent a cab­in from one of many options for a cozy get­away. Many of our cab­ins offer beau­ti­ful views and are per­fect for a Valentine’s get­away.

There are also a cou­ple of hotels that offer deli­cious eater­ies for a nice Valentine’s week­end as well. The Inn at Wise is a gor­geous hotel which is filled with his­to­ry and it has its own din­er inside, along with a pub and tap room. The West­ern Front Hotel is anoth­er hotel with its own restau­rant con­ve­nient­ly locat­ed inside. Both hotels are gor­geous and have their own unique per­son­al­i­ties to draw you in to want to stay.

Depend­ing on where you stay or where you would like to vis­it, the dif­fer­ent towns have a lot of dif­fer­ent activ­i­ties that are usu­al­ly going on dur­ing the week­ends. There is usu­al­ly a guid­ed hike you can fol­low or an art class going on. You can check out the Heart of Appalachia web­site for a list of events going dur­ing that time and at what loca­tion.
