If you haven't been to the Hills of Home festival yet you don't know what you're missing!
This festival is an old time bluegrass music tradition started by Dr. Ralph Stanley and continuing today in his honor. Ralph Stanley II started managing the festival seven years ago, earning his dad's confidence and trust, and he takes great pride in continuing to honor his dad by making the festival a true tribute to the legendary Dr. Ralph Stanley and continuing to bring talented bluegrass musicians to the stage for the fans.
The sound of banjos, mandolins and voices ringing high on top of some of the most beautiful mountains you will ever see!
Check out a few new things going on this year so be sure and make plans to come on up to the festival!
We are honored again this year to be a recipient of the Virginia Tourism Corporation's Music Festival Grant! This grant is being used to help the festival in updating the shower and restroom facilities. Check out their website at: www.Virginia.org/music!
