To get the day off to a good start the annual Pancake Breakfast will be held at the First United Methodist Church from 7am to 10am.
Following the breakfast, the Peeled Chestnut Mountain Pumpkin Festival will get underway. It will be held again at Laurel Meadows Park. The festival is sponsored by American Legion Post 14 and the Pocahontas Lions Club. Concessions will be provided and sold by the Pocahontas Lions Club. There will also be a Cruz-In Car Show from 11am to 2pm.
Bring all your family and friends and come enjoy all the good food and fun activities lined up for this one day annual event.
