Clinch River Farms

Our farm is an agritourism site and features 70 acres with the Clinch River.  We host groups for nature hikes, petting zoo (special arrangements), playground, river walk, camp site with picnic shelter.  You can take trails for hiking or enjoy lots of fishing.  We have a Big toy, swings, zip line and camp fire.  Tubing on the Clinch is a great activity.

Our farm is particularly interesting for Green folks.  We have the only off grid cabin on the Clinch (check out Journey Cabin which is available for rent ) and the barn and house are solar powered grid tied.  Rain water collection is all over the farm.

We are host to Boy and Girl Scout events for tenting, camping, and do Boy Scout Merit Badges.  We have an Eagle Scout available for special events.  We support YMCA and other groups that help our community.

We produce crops that are sold in local restaurants.  Children can dig potatoes or feed animals with some advanced planning. Our barn has a classroom and there is a camp crafts store available.  We provide many summer programs as well as field trips for children in cooperation with Mountain Kids, Inc.

Call and make arrangements to visit us and find out what life is like in the country.
