MountainRose Vineyards

Grapevines & roses abound as you visit MountainRose Vineyards & enjoy the only Virginian wines made from grapes grown on land formerly mined for coal. Abundant in minerals, the soil gives our wines beautiful rich colors and intense fruity flavors and aromas. All the grapes are hand pruned & grown in the cool mountain air with plenty of sunshine, then harvested and sorted by hand so that only the best grapes go into our wines. We have special blend wines named after local seams of coal that pay respect to our local heritage, while also offering a premium varietal wine selection. Dry, Sweet, Red, White or Blush, there is something for everyone at MountainRose!

Come and visit us, tour the vineyards, and taste the wines in the breathtaking beauty of the Southwest Virginia Appalachian Mountains. We do tours, tastings, parties, and special events 7 days a week and can’t wait to meet you! Hours: Monday-Saturday Noon-6:00PM, Sundays 1pm-5pm
