Sunflower Shanty

This beautiful Victorian home is a piece of Tazewell County’s history. Being the first plantation home on what is now Dial Rock, it offers gorgeous mountain views and Southern charm.

We have three private retreats you can rent separately as well: The Bella Alexandra, The Charles Holston Graham, and The Parker McKenzie.
The space

For your down time, we have ample entertainment options for your group to enjoy. There will be movies, video games on multiple consoles, puzzles, and various reading material throughout the home.

To receive the full effect, there is no WiFi offered at the Sunflower Shanty. Due to the plaster in the walls, an internet connection will not radiate through the home. Though this may be an inconvenience, being this disconnected increases the overall experience.
