Hootin' in the Holler

Dickenson County’s Hootin’ in the Holler will be held on September 9 in Clintwood. The event will feature a barbecue cook-off event, cruise-in, food trucks, vendors, and more.

The Clintwood Kiwanis and the McClure River Kiwanis clubs present the second annual BBQ Cookoff. Competitors will be judged on pork butt, ribs, and chicken. Cash prizes will be given – $250 for 3rd place, $500 for 2nd place, and $1,000 for 1st place.
