Russell County Old Christmas

Location: Old Russell County Courthouse and Dickenson/Bundy Log House (24071 Hwy. 58, Castlewood, VA)

Spend an afternoon in the past with stories and traditions of how Christmas used to be celebrated in the Appalachian Mountains. Russell County Old Christmas will feature special guest Appalachian storyteller and musician Ron Short. The event is slated for January 8, beginning at 2 p.m. at the Old Russell County Courthouse. After the event, refreshments will be served.
