Heart of Appalachia Events & Festivals | Heart of Appalachia

In the mountains, there’s never a short supply of things to do!

Narrow it down.

Look between two dates or select more options to view by type and area.

After a long hike you might want to just call it a day.

But don’t go doing it in front of a TV. You can do that at home. Out here you can experience live performances of real bluegrass and old-time music, or come out to one of the local jam sessions.  There is always traditional music being picked in the Heart of Appalachia.  Unique experiences will enhance your visit like going to the drive-in, watching an outdoor drama, or seeing exotic animals from across the globe, up close and personal.  The possibilities are virtually endless.
