First Day Hike at Natural Tunnel's Purchase Ridge

Get your heart pumping in the New Year, on this ranger-led hike along Purchase Ridge. This trail will take you to one of the highest points in the park and enjoy the view from Purchase Ridge Overlook. This hike is a 3.5-mile round trip and involves steady inclines. Please dress for the weather and bring snacks and water.

Natural Tunnel State Park is proud to offer red/green colorblindness correcting outdoor glasses by EnChroma during all offered programming; three protan red sensitivity and three deutan green sensitivity are available for use during programs.

This is a FREE parking day for all Virginia State Parks.
