Gate City's Red, White & Blue Bash

Independence Day at Gate City’s Red, White & Blue Bash kicks off Saturday, July 1, 2023.

Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy a hometown parade through Gate City on Kane and Jackson streets. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy!

From 5:30 to 8 p.m., bring the whole family for a free event downtown. Enjoy bouncy houses, live music, and giveaways. The Freedom Fun Zone is sponsored by GCUPC.

From 8:30 to 9:45 p.m., Scott County’s Got Talent will debut as a free admission event. Enjoy the best entertainment Scott County has to offer! Winners will take home $600 in prizes!

Then, at 9:45 p.m., enjoy a professional fireworks show by Dynamic Effects. Fireworks will be shot off from the Flea Market parking lot around 9:45 p.m/dark.
