New Year's Eve Hike at Natural Tunnel State Park

Forgo the fireworks and crowded festivities and accompany a ranger on this guided hike through the quiet woods with the moon and stars lighting the way. Be the last one hiking in the old year and the first one hiking in the new. The trail will be modestly lit by the moon and lanterns. This moderate one-mile hike goes along the Birding and Wildlife Trails.

This event will run from 11 p.m. New Year’s Eve until 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Registration is required. To register and for more information please call 276-940-1643 or email ethan.howes@dcr.virginia.gov. Not recommended for kids 10 and under, and pets are not permitted.
