Pound Heritage Days will be held May 25-28. The event kicks off with Pickin’ in the Pound on May 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. Join in on the jam with bluegrass, country, and maybe a little rock ‘n roll. Kids Night will be May 26. In addition to a live deejay, enjoy inflatables, games, face painting, cake walks, cotton candy and popcorn, snow cones, a dunking booth, and even a milking machine. Music, crafts, food vendors, and a car show will be held May 27. Saturday’s festivities will include live music all day, a pound cake contest, quilt show, and cornhole tournament. Musical entertainment will feature Annessa Davidson, Brandon Maggard, Aidan Mullins, Jonas Riley, Still Water, Jenny Clark Ross, Jeff + Boyd, Drake Brock, Roadhouse Band, and Pure & Simple Band. And on Sunday, May 28, gather for a Sunday religious service with music and vendors. Sunday’s service will be held at the JW Adams Auditorium from 10 a.m. to noon. Music and vendors will be at the town hall from 1 to 6 p.m. Musical entertainment will include Noah Peters – the Singing Barber, Breaking Bread, Drake Brock, and Heavenly Hope.
