Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park to offer “Wandering the Wilderness” Bus Tour

Big Stone Gap, VA. The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park is offering a unique opportunity to take a ride through history. On Saturday, August 19, join museum staff and volunteers for a day-long bus tour along the Wilderness Road.

On this journey, participants will travel from the Anderson Blockhouse to the Cumberland Gap, stopping at several important historical locations along the Wilderness Road.

The bus will leave from the Museum at 8 a.m. and will return at approximately 6 p.m. Participants must bring their own lunch. Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today! The price for the tour is $25 per person. The registration and payment deadline are Friday, August 11.
